Growth, as it relates to sales, marketing, and retention, stems from optimizing three variables: content, channel and audience. Every company’s growth hack is different but the method to discovering that hack is the same. It requires research, testing, benchmarking and optimizing your content, channel and audience. Typically a growth hacker is really good at analytics or creative, I pride myself on being strong in both.

WHO IS CHRIS SHENG?

Chris Sheng is a 2x Founder, serial entrepreneur and growth strategist. He founded and exited online tuxedo rental company SimpleTux before starting his second venture, Renly, an Airbnb for commercial business space, where he is currently CEO. Additionally, he’s led growth at a number of startups, including alumni from such prestigious programs as Y Combinator and Techstars. He’s spoken about entrepreneurship at events across the country and has a passion for empowering anyone who has the hustle.
